Antibiotic Guideline for the Treatment of Endocarditis:

- If penicillin allergic click here.

Enterococci, Penicillin resistant (MIC > 0.5mg/L) S. bovis/viridans strep, nutritionally variant streptococci

Gentamicin sensitive or low level resistant (MIC < 100 mg/l)

Gentamicin sensitive or low level resistant (MIC < 100 mg/l) but penicillin resistant (MIC >8mg/l)

Gentamicin highly resistant (MIC > 2000 mg/l)
